There are links on the site that will take you off of the encyclopedia Web site. Many of these have been created to help you research your topic more fully.
Visiting Center for Jewish History (CJH) Partner Web Sites
You can visit the main YIVO Web site from every page of the encyclopedia’s Web site by clicking the YIVO INSTITUTE FOR JEWISH RESEARCH link at the top of any page.

You can also visit our partners at the Center for Jewish History easily from every page of our Web site.
Use the pull-down menu at the top right of each page to select the Web site you’d like to visit.

Additional searches within an article
When you are browsing the entries in the encyclopedia or viewing articles, you can search the library and archives or the digital collections of the Center for Jewish History to find out more about your topic. The title of the topic is already filled in, so simply click the search button of the collection you would like to search. You can also change the search term and search the collections for another topic.

NOTE: There may not be any results for a particular search at the CJH collections. If that is the case, you will see text informing you that there are no search results.
YIVO Archival Resources
Following the text of many articles, where relevant materials in the YIVO Archives exist, is a list of archival resources. These lists have been compiled based on the Guide to the YIVO Archives (1998) and additional unpublished lists of archive groups received more recently.
The resources are listed by Record Group (RG) number, with a link to the online catalog entry for that RG. These catalog entries include all the descriptive information about the RG from the published guide: the name of the collection, the dates and extent of the material, and a scope and content note.
Where YIVO has published a more detailed online finding aid to a collection, the link is made to the finding aid rather than to the online catalog entry.

Some articles have external links that have been specifically created by our editors. These can be found on the right side of the article page, under the links to the Center for Jewish History collections.
